364 of 365.

I can't believe there's only one day left till 2015. It feels like just yesterday I was celebrating New Year's! 2014 went by incredibly fast, yet there was so much to it: I closed a number of old chapters and opened new ones. So this is me trying to sum it all up and remember everything I've been through this past year.

Exeter

This post was supposed to be my graduation post, but I couldn't bring myself to close such an important chapter of my life that fast. I guess it's just too hard to say goodbye sometimes. Exeter changed me in so many ways, and I can't imagine what I'd be like if I chose another place to study. Sometimes I feel like it never happened to me, or it was simply in another life, a long-long time ago. Although on certain days I could swear that nothing was ever more real than the years I spent in Exeter.

Each year was so different and full of surprises, and I'm thankful for every experience that I got.

100 facts about me.

I know that this post may seem a bit , or maybe fully, vain but the main purpose was for me to analyse myself and face some personal facts I might have forgotten. Anyways, if you find this interesting, then keep reading, if not, then it's not gonna get any better in this post :)

June

Hey Everyone!

It's been a while since my last post, so I decided to put a little more effort into my blog, especially now that I have some free time due to Ramadan.
My summer has been great so far! In the beginning of June, my girls and I went on a short trip to Istanbul, a trip full of laughter and excitement! We went hiking, survived the protests as well as strolled around Sultanahmet.

After spending a weekend in Istanbul, I went to Antalya where I met my mom. We spent nearly four weeks together and it was delightful! As I was growing up, I was used to be on my own quite often, and now that I spent five years abroad, I'm quite independent from my family. But every time I stay with my mom, somehow, I turn into a kid. Or, better say, I turn into Garfield.

Portraits of Toddlers Eating Lemons for the First Time.

Pretty much everybody is in a hardcore revision mode right now or stressing out because of essays and dissertations. I feel like everyone is trying to learn the whole year's material in just a week, as I probably  haven't seen these many people in the library since January's exam period. This post is dedicated to all of you hardworking people, take a break and smile at these photos of toddlers eating lemons for the first time:)

Hell.

My aim in life is to have no regrets and be proud of everything I've done. It doesn't matter how old I am when I die, it's not in my power, but it is in my power to be the best version of me that I could possibly be.

Would you agree?

A.

Speed of Life.

'Our lives are defined by opportunities, even the ones we miss'.

I couldn't agree more. At the end of the day, the things we regret most are the words we never said, kisses and hugs we never gave, feelings we never confessed, leap of faith we never took.

Life is so fast and unstable, you never know what is going to happen to you or your close people tomorrow. I'm sure that the families of those, who were on the flight MH370 in Malaysia, would do anything just to be able to express their love for one last time.

Christmas Break

Now that I'm done with all my exams and assignments, it's time to update my blog. My Christmas break was great and it's kind of bittersweet to be back in Exeter. Here're some photos from my trip to Malaysia and Turkey :)
P.S.: I don't feel like uploading them to Instagram or Facebook :D

They take Christmas to another level in Malaysia.
